#nobetterthanyourrecord

It's our hashtag, and the first social networking idea we're letting out of the lab. If there are some Wins or Losses going down across these wide Internets, this is how we'll tag it.

So drop the hashtag on the end and join the converstaion. If it's good enough, we'll RT it, and it will be displayed here on the site.

What it is.

It's called Wins+Losses, a podcast where we will chronicle the week in... well everything. And since this is The Internet, the results are measured in wins and losses.

The Wins+Losses Manifesto.

Winners are winners.
Losers are just losers.
Flukes are real (and may juke your stats)
All stats require proper
deep-dive analysis.
Losers are as losers do.
You may disagree with our choices, which is fine, you're just wrong.
At the end of the day, you're no better than your record.

Who We Are.

Just two Bard College graduates from the class of 2006 who finally got our shit together and launched a podcast.

Henry Casey, co-host & web producer, currently works in the world of Museum Merchandise development. He co-founded the The Busy Signal, blogs at With A Passion and one day plans to actually work in journalism, rather than just staring at it from across the bar. His all-time Winners list: Bernie Williams, John Lasseter, Trent Reznor, Geoffrey Arendt, and James Murphy. His all-time Loser list: Katie Holmes, Kevin Eubanks, Tom from Myspace, Victoria Jackson, and George Lopez. You can find more from Henry on facebook, twitter, and on rare occasions, in person.

Collin Orcutt, co-host & audio producer, currently produces videos for Sports Illustrated/SI.com. He has written for Men's Fitness, hooped for Bard College and still freelances occasionally around the web. One day, he plans to use his super powers of sarcasm and his smart-ass tendencies to make that cash money. His all-time Winners list: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. His all-time Loser list: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. You can find more from Collin on Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and wherever basketball is happening.
